The mechanism behind the healing effect involves nano scale magnets attached to the end of the ceramic chains. When heated, the magnets vibrate at very high frequency causing the ultimate self leveling effect to occur. It does not turn into a liquid when it heals, but rather a type of solid with fluidic properties.
